For the month I have been working out, I don't think I have ever looked forward to rest day like I did today. My whole side and lower half of my body is so sore! The last couple of days I have been hitting the gym hard to make up for the two weeks I was absent.
Muscle failure was a lot quicker, I did go down in weight on the dumbbells (I was at 15-20 lbs now I'm back down to 5-10 lbs). But I would get fatigued a lot quicker, my RCM muscles on my right arm were stiffer, the popping was a lot worse this time around, however, I am working through it.
We did a lot of quads, hamstrings and glutes work on Saturday. I did a new machine for squats and quads, and my bench press is improving which I'm pretty happy about.
I'm starting to see definition in my thighs and arms, something that is totally new to me but still equally exciting. I will post my full lower body routine later this week for those of you who are following along with me.
